We worm 30 horses, our own and our boarders. Most horses tolerate the process, others express their dislike. We used Bimectrin last time and the horses seemed pleasantly surprised. Holding it out for them to smell first gave them a chance to anticipate something nice. One horse wanted more! I'm actually looking forward to our next rotation of Bimectrin!

We are new horse owners and we dreaded worming time. Someone gave us a special worming halter and someone else told us to mix it with apple sauce. We just couldn't get it in them, so we paid our vet to do it ($$$) Our trainer told us our horses might like the apple flavored Bimectin. Using some grain as a carrier, we mixed it in a bowl and they love it. Thank you so much for elimination that aggravation. We can now do our own worming, stay on schedule and not have our horses hate the whole process!

This is a great product to use on foals. They don't mind the apple taste, and are easier to worm on future dates.
