I bought two of these to have for my paint gelding. I thought the one-piece design was an excellent idea, as i have have the two piece full masks in the past and had trouble with them comming apart at the seam... This mask leaves much to be desired. It fits terribly, I will probably be sending them back for exchange. the eye darts are located way too low (for any horse) and the mask rubs on his eyes. I put it on him and watched for a little bit, but the poor fellow looked rediculous, and was obviously uncomfortable and couldn't see. I decided it wasn't safe to leave on him and put the mask back in the box and went back to our tattered and torn but fitting mask from last year. If I don't return the masks, I will be taking them apart and atempting to raise the eye darts to fit my geldings face. great one-peice design idea. very strongly made. poor fit design.

I was surprised to read that the other reviewer was so unhappy with this mask. I have used it over the past 3 or 4 years, and love the fit. The contour design around the extended nose does not leave huge gaps as some masks do, and the eye darts are generous enough to prevent pressure over the eyes. I also appreciate that there is no fleece to pick up burrs. I have used more expensive extended-nose masks that do not hold up as well as this one. I would recommend this mask. This product is too big and does not fit correctly but it at least works. The Defender I purchased with the velcro nose band looked good but the horse next door just pulled it off. Now it does no good because the neighbor horse takes it off every day.

I have horses and burros and have used this mask for several years. No sweat lines when it comes off, even in this Desert. For quality, fit and durability it cannot be beat.
