Mosquitoes are known to transmit West Nile virus. Kills and repels ticks on horses. Ticks are known to transmit Lyme disease, anemia, tick paralysis, bebesiosis, and granulocytic ehrlichiosis to horses.

I find the spot on products all to be helpful to my extremely fly allergic mule. Without protection :(like when my other mule rips her flyboots off) she chews her fetlocks to a bloody mess. I do wish I got the full two weeks of complete protection but I usually have to put the fly boots back on between 7-10 days after application. I find the spot on products more effective than spray especially when I need them to stand still and pest free for the farrier. The fly rid tubes make for easy application and it isn't to expensive when looking at the relief it provides.

I have used this for the past 2 years on my 5 'boyz'. When fly season is at peak, by day 10 the flies are increasing on them but I use a spray for those few times and only apply every 14 days, Can bath them in between & all!

I found that this spot-on product worked good on my horse but not great. I found that it helped to reduce the amount of flies that bothered my horse for about 5-7 days max. It was easy to apply and not too greasy.
