EquiCare® SimpliFly with LarvaStop™

A highly palatable feed additive to prevent the development of stable flies and house flies in the manure of treated horses. LarvaStop™ breaks the fly life cycle by preventing the formation of fly larvae’s exoskeletons when they molt (resulting in their death). Reduces fly populations by 97-100%. Start feeding in spring before flies begin to appear, and continue feeding throughout the summer. This product does not contain organophosphates and can be used as part of an integrated pest management program.

Feed 900 - 1100 lb. horse 1 oz. per day.
Not for use in pregnant mares or stallions.

Additional EquiCare® SimpliFly with LarvaStop™ Information:

SimpliFly with LarvaStop™ is a highly palatable feed additive to prevent the development of stable flies and house flies in the manure of treated horses. LarvaStop™ breaks the fly life cycle by preventing the formation of fly larvae’s exoskeletons when they molt (resulting in their death). READ ENTIRE LABEL BEFORE EACH USE

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

DO NOT USE ON HORSES INTENDED FOR SLAUGHTER

Feed the recommended dosage of SimpliFly with LarvaStop™ to each horse separately to make certain he receives his full portion. This product should be fed top dressed on grain or mixed with the horse's total ration to provide 6.8 mg of diflubenzuron per 100 lbs. of body weight. For an occasional finicky eater who does not accept new feeds readily, mix this product with sweet feed or grain ration.
Start feeding SimpliFly with LarvaStop™ early in the spring before flies begin to appear and continue feeding throughout the summer and into the fall until cold weather restricts fly activity. This product contains an insect growth regulator which prevents the development of house flies and stable flies in the manure of treated horses, but is not effective against existing adult flies. In some cases, supplemental fly control measures may be needed in and around paddocks and buildings to control adult house and stable flies which can breed in other decaying vegetable matter or silage on premises, or that migrate in from other areas.

SimpliFly with LarvaStop™ should be used as part of an integrated pest management program aimed at reducing fly populations in the horse's environment. Consult your retailer for program recommendations. In order to achieve optimum fly control, this product should be used in conjunction with other premise and on-animal products as well as good management and sanitation practices.

DAILY DOSAGE
300-500 lb. Horse, Pony or Miniature Horse: Feed 2/5 oz. per horse per day.
500-700 lb. Horse or Pony: Feed 3/5 oz. per horse per day.

900-1100 lb. Horse: Feed 1 oz. per horse per day.
1100-1300 lb. Horse: Feed 1 1/5 oz. per horse per day.
For larger horses over 1,300 lbs. of body weight or draft horses, feed an additional 1/5 oz. for each additional 200 lbs. of body weight.

I have 3 horses and happy neighbors. If you're in a barn full of horses and they aren't all on this it won't help for you to use it. If you have your horses on your property without a bunch of livestock close by it's perfect. Be sure to read the info. It won't hurt dogs that eat horse manure - very important at my house.

Last year my horses and I all suffered from those terrible biting flies. I started this at the end of April and there are no flies around. I didn't think it would work but I was so wrong. I highly recommend this product if you don't want those pesky flies biting your horses making them stomp constantly. Great product! It's true also that one scoop in their grain per day does the trick.

This is the first year that we have used Simplifly at our retirement boarding facility and I won't go another Summer without it! My vet and ferrier say that there aren't any flys at our facility but other facilities in the same area are inundated with them. You definitely notice a huge difference.

This product does everything it says it will do. Last year all I did was kill biting flies,(127 one afternoon) and this year there are none. Believe me, if you want to get rid of the biting, nasty flies, then get this product and use it like it says one scoop per horse in the morning is what I do. I will never be without this as long as I have horses. Thank you.
