DON'T PASS THIS UP, 4/25/2008

THE ONLY BAD THING I CAN SAY...IS WHY DIDN'T I ORDER THIS AS SOON AS I SAW IT IN THE CATALOG !! WE LOVE IT...EXCELLENT QUALITY...EASY TO USE...CARRIES SADDLES WHERE THEY ARE NEEDED WITH EASE.EVEN THO IT IS MADE WITH REALLY DURABLE MATERIALS, THE PNEUMATIC TIRES MAKES TRANSPORT A BREEZE. WE ONLY PUT ONE SADDLE AND THE BLANKET ONLY EACH RACK. TWO SADDLES MADE IT TOO HEAVY. AS YOU CAN SEE...I HIGHLY RECCOMMEND THIS.

This cart is nice but it needed some issues improved. For example if you put two heavy saddles on it, it becomes unbalanced and can fall backwards unexpectedly. Pneumatic tires are nice idea but the bearings/axel is kind of cheesy. I added extra weight in the bottom basket to keep center of gravity low (to avoid tipping problem I just mentioned). Too much weight makes it HARD to push, as if the axel is bending or bearings are grinding(???) Rear row of hooks a nice idea but putting them low (as pictured) means bridles and halters are dragging. Putting it high means it doesn't hook quite right around the bars from the saddle rack. Item RUSTS easily, so beware if you have a damp enviroment or want to use it to go to shows during rainy season. However, all that being said, there isn't anything better on the market. I do like that it's all metal and mine hasn't broken, despite it tipping over a few times fully loaded.

just love it. serves the purpose perfectly, easy to assemble but think through and read directions. have to pump up the tires. good options for height to avoid tipping, wheels make it easy to move. i'd recommend a cover to go over the top to keep saddles and "stuff" from getting dusty. price was right.

I just received my saddle rack - one cotter pin is missing and the holes on the vertical bar do not align with the base. If you attach the lower screws the bar is a good inch behind the upper screw hole. If you secure the upper screws the lower screws can't get close to going through the holes. Plan on the cost of shipping to return the item before purchasing.
