I was real excited in finding this product and promptly purchased 12 bars to take along on our horseback riding vacation. We had five horses on our trip and all five horses (who are not at all picky) disliked the nutrition bars. They readily tasted the product, but quickly spitted it out. Surprised by their reaction, I tasted the bar, and found it to be extremely salty with no sweet tasted at all. The horses ended up eating OUR graham crackers as mid-trail ride snack. I'm hoping the one of the horses back home will eat the bars, so that they don't go to waste.

I have 5 horses and it's hot in the Los Angeles mountains so I bought these bars for the mere thought of dehydration. All 5 horses, and some stable pals, LOVED these bars. In fact, so much that I am trying to buy them at wholesale. You have to break them up into bite sized pieces for some horses the first time, the second time around they eat 1/2 bar at a time. I guess it's dense and chewy. So far, of about 15 horses who have tried VIVE! -- each one has loved them. I have lots of new friends now!
