This clipper literally fell apart during the first three uses. It was a complete waste of money, even though it was inexpensive. False economy there. Beware!

I have used two cheaper brands before and they did not cut well at all. I really like the Chromado Clipper. It holds the charge well, fits in my hand, and does not get clogged with fur/hair as much as previous brands I have used. I am buying a second one because it was my daughter's and she moved away and took it.

I use my Chromando on my 4 horses for general touch ups, just to make them look good- muzzle, trim long face hairs and bridle path. It's great cause I can walk out to the field and just do them there!! But with my long haired dogs, I clip them down during the summer and have held up well. The attachments to adjust to the clippers to limit such a close trim doesn't work as well as I would wish and the plastic can bend out of shape easily. But I can manage without. I recommend these clippers.
