Very durable mask, with the only weak point being the throat latch that is easily torn. We can keep up with that repetitive repair, for the rest of the product is made very well & should last more than one season. Doesn't hold up well with curious young horses that tear them off all the others though....

These are a great fit for the average medium quarter horse. No fleece edges to catch burdocks or weeds. Eye darts are sturdy as is the entire mask. I have gotten 2-3 summer seasons out of every mask with good care. Throat latch simple, so not for frisky horses. I use them on my seasoned fly mask using horses and they love them. These masks can take a beating!

I liked the fit, but my filly had the throat strap ripped off in a couple weeks. It might be better to go for one a little more expensive for a young horse.

After at least 5 yrs of use the throat latch will need repaired before using next yr. The only complaint is that it rubs the hair off the sides of my mares face, it needs a bit of fleece there maybe.
