I don't have horses but I live in an equestrian neighborhood. For many years I've tried to grow a vegatable garden, but have always been frustrated by every rodent known to this part of the world, especially rabbits. I have purchased two different fence chargers over the years, but the rabbits would run through them to get at my plants, ignoring the shock and the sparks. They dodn't seem to sell a very powerful charger here, so I ordered the Field Master 2 on line a year or so ago. It stops them dead. Actually, blows the cute little bunnies away, sometimes. No more probs...

I tried 3-4 chargers before this one and none of them produced adequate charge to my fence of 4 strands of 1.5 inch electroweb. This charger not only powers that fence but also powers a fence-top web line and two Premier poultry netting fences. This charger keeps working even when the netting gets overgrown with weeds and blackberries. And it stops my horses, goats, and poultry in their tracks. This is a very good charger.
