I have been using this product for 2 years now and each year I say it is a waste. I can not see that it helps in anyway. I bought 4 jars for my 2 horses that is the only reason I am still using this product.

I have 2 horses that have been on this product for 2 years and I am thrilled with it. My horses are extremely bug sensitive and this product has made it tolerable for them to stay outside and for me to ride during bug season. I am thinking of putting more of my horses on it. It is a great value for the money.

I am returning to order more of this after substituting another product for BugLyte. I had tried BugLyte on a whim, along with Solitude. We have few flies, thanks to Solitude, but the mosquitoes are awful! While on BugLyte, my horse wasn't bothered by much more than gnats. When we ran out, I went to the feed store to buy more. They didn't have BugLyte, but recommended a product that is probably pure garlic powder. Very expensive and not at all effective. My poor horse has been eaten up by the bugs - she has huge welts all over her. I'm going back to BugLyte!

I bought this product for my mare, she is super sensitive to knats and will rub herself raw. I like to put her out at night to keep her dark but couldn't because of the bugs. I have tried other products, this is the first one that truly works, I am buying more for my other horses too.

I've been feeding this to my 4 horses for about 2 months. Although we still have plenty of flies in the barn, I do notice that the flies tend to leave the horses alone. I'm using much less fly spray on the horses than last summer. I believe the product is helping repel the flies from the horses.

I notice less flies on my manure and certainly less around the barn in general. It is a helpful part to my annual natural fly control program. A bigger difference can be noted if started in the spring before fly season and continued through fall.

Although I don't think it helped with the flies, one of my horses is severly allergic to midge bites. He would spend hours scratching his tail with sores on his elbows, mane and butt. I used buglyte this year and he hasn't rubbed his tail once!!! I don't think it's a coincodence!

I have 11 horses and they are kept on different properties near each other. The 5 using Buglyte are not requiring fly spray much at all, including the mare with eye problems that normally the flies are covering her face. This year I started her and my yearling off in April with the Buglyte and was amazed that her eyes were not running as they normally do from all the flies. I am using 1 of the bigger end of the double scoop and with all the rain we have had still am not really needing to put spray on my horses. The other pasture where the horses weren't getting buglyte I started seeing welts and weeping eyes so everybody gets some now. Highly reccommend and suggest if it is not working well then you might need to double the dose for a week then reduce back down to one large scoop.
