I bought these stirrups about 4 years ago from Country Supply. Since then 3 of my friends have also purchased these. We all have some type of knee or hip problem and these stirrps really make the ride more comfortable. We ride average of 1000 miles a year and have never had a problem. Whenever I get another saddle they will be the first accessory.

I loved these stirrups right up to the moment I heard a very loud CRACK! while mounting this morning. The bottom of my left stirrup (the plastic part, not the pad)split clean in half! The only thing holding it together and saving me from a potential wreck was the pad itself, which had torn nearly to the top as well! When I checked my other stirrup I found it had started to split in exactly the same place (dead center, top to bottom). I'm not a particularly heavy rider, I usually use a mounting block, and I've had these stirrups less than two months! I do ride several times a week, but I'm certainly not charging over hill and dale. I recommend spending a few more $$ to buy heavy-duty nylon or aluminum stirrups.

My husband and I have bad knee's.These stirrups have allowed us to go on those longer rides now. We have rode dozen's of trail rides with these,at least 4 hours long.They are very comfortable stirrups,and fit both our boots,size 8 & 11's.Great deal on a must have for bad knee's and ankles.I own the brown,he has the black.Easy to clean,just wipe off with water.
