The directions say to empty every two weeks--after only one week it stunk like a dead animal. I moved it outside and then it attracted bugs like crazy---the side of my house was covered in tiny fruit fly type bugs!!!! This product was a nightmare for me. I absolutely hate it!!!!! It took care of my fly problem only to give me a much worse issue. Those fruit fly bugs were way more annoying.

I bought this thing years ago because it was reusable. I also bought some disposable bag traps since they were cheap. Well this thing caught maybe 5 flies and was difficult to hang against the fence, the disposables filled up with flies. It just doesn't work.

First I have to say that I can't believe that someone would use one of these inside - they are clearly outside fly traps!
I generally have between six and ten dogs staying at my house, and the Rescue fly trap is by far the best trap I've used. I hang one under the eves of my storage building and flies are GONE!

this is the best fly trap i've used! It hangs outside between my stalls approx. 5 feet off the ground and had an insane amounts of dead and living flies in it as well as flies trying to get in and flying around! I am ordering a refill today!

I ordered these because at the time the Rescue Diposable Big Bag trap was out of stock. I trusted they would give me the same great results as the Rescue dispoable. WRONG! In over 3 weeks each trap has less then 10 bugs in it. I had to go to my local feed store and buy 2 of the disposables at 2x the price as online and in two days they are teeming with flies! Don't waste your money on the reusable Rescue Fly traps, they don't work anything like the Rescue disposables! I am very disappointed and feel I wasted my money!

When I first tried to use this product I placed it in the barn but didn't have much success. I re-read the directions and noticed it said to place in direct sunlight. I put this out a couple feet from my round feeder and it's catching flies like crazy. Very easy to use because I just emptied, refilled and started over.
