When I bought my mare she had a crack down the middle of her hoof. It wasn't bad or deep so I didn't think much of it. Then she through a shoe and it was during the rainy season and the crack opened up and turned into White Line Disease. I did tons of research and decided to try this product. My mare has been on it for just 3 weeks and already I can tell a huge difference. It will take a few months of course to completely grow out but the split is half the size it used to be. I feed this everyday with her feed and once a week use iodine to help keep the fungus out. This stuff really does work!!

Two years ago I purchased a TB/QH mare that ended up having soft hoof walls and brittle hooves, not just cracks from the dry weather. I brought her home and had my vet out to give her a check over. He recommended Source Focus HF for her. Right away I got her on it and as her hooves started to grow out the cracks were disappearing with each visit from my farrier. I ended up running out of the Source and decided to buy another hoof supplement from Tractor Supply. I have had her on the "other" supplement for three months and the cracks are back and worse than ever! I am switching back to the Source Focus HF and never trying anything else again. Source has the chelated minerals need to help the horse absorb the vitamins and minerals that are essential for the hooves. Boy have I learned my lesson!

I have used the normal Source for years, especially when we lived in the south as it really helped my horses overall with coping. I tried HF last year with a mare that I bought that we figured was ruined due to an injury that she basically had 5 feet from a quarter crack that completely seperated her heel and about 1/3 of her foot so bad it started to grow independent of the rest of her foot. Yes, bought this way, and no one would fess up to what happened. I talked with my absolutely gifted farrier (4th gen Amish family that even went as far as going to school just to further their knowledge and ended up teaching classes!) and put her on this, something I already had my other QH one for his brittle feet or former brittle feet at least. She started to heal but we figured she'd always be off. That was ok. Nine months later, she is totally sound and you can see the change in her feet. The rings from where we put her on HF are almost gone as her foot is totally grown out, and the horrible crack, one that made it into a high end farrier's journal for horse not destroyed kind of thing, is almost gone. Without the pictures, you would almost never know!! In about 2 months, you won't be able to as the last bit will trim off. Very happy, very highly recommend. Has my farrier, vet and fellow trainers all pretty convinced, a few with similar stories. :)

When i got my mares they both had okay hooves. i was told to put them on a hoof supplement. i tired Focus HF and it was wonderful my Farrier could not believe how fast and strong my horses hooves grew. when it got hard to find in my area, i used other products that i could get, but i was disappointed. No product i have tried works as well as Focus HF!

I did a detailed comparison of hoof care products before trying this. I've used Hoof Power, Farrier's Formula and simple gelatin. Focus HF has the combination of ingredients that work.
