I was under the impression and according to the ad that this bit was a Korsteel Bit! I did not receive a Korsteel Bit at all it was a Foy bit instead made in China with very rough edges so sharp it would cut you and your horse. I did call to find out why I received this bit instead of a Korsteel bit and was simpley told I don't know and if you will send it back at my expense they would check into it! It was out of stock for awhile, and when I placed my order it said in stock! It was not in stock so they sent a substitue which I did not want. I wanted what I had paid for!!! I had to place another order for bit guards so it would not cut my horse's mouth.

I really really like this bit! Its great for just running the horses and going fo gallops. It does not pinch my horse's cheeks and fits her great. I use it for her exercise when I just run her and she enjoys it. Although I do reccomend it I do not use it for schooling ( i ride western) because I prefer a loose ring snaffle since it has a better feel of the horses mouth. This bit has an OK contact/feel of the horse's mouth but not as much as a loose ring. I hope this helps! =) ( I also use it for jumping.)
