Boght 2 of these. One was broken on arrival and was replaced. Both of the others broke within a month. I like this style but this batch seems to be brittle and break very easy.Junk, Junk, Junk.

This is a great pitch fork and is perfect for picking stalls with fresh pellet bedding. I clean 12-17 stalls twice daily and use this pitch fork when the pellets are new. Once the pellets are old and broken down I use the close tined pitch fork. This item tends to break if the basket is overloaded, but all other pitch forks I've tried break just as quick or quicker (I used one guaranteed for a year and it lasted 2 days, the other lasted 6 months).

I had gotten 3 of these, and they all broke within a month or so. I have had three of the standard ones with no basket for about 2 yrs and they are worn but still usable.

These are great for cleaning stalls and sand paddocks, there nice because you can fit a lot of poop on them and the poop doesn't roll off (like the non-basket ones). But these are not good for cleaning poop out of the pasture or grass, because they are plastic and will snap while your levering the poop up out of the grass. I broke two sticks off of my fork using it in the pasture. I would buy a metal one for cleaning pastures.

We've had the product for several months, and continues to do a great job. A couple of tines have broken, but our ground is very rocky. The Size is great, takes little time to scoup three stalls. Will continue to order this product! I like the handle setup.

I have used this style for over 6 years. Like anything else, they break in time, but I can usually get 1+/- years per replacement. Great for stalls & around the barn. Not so good in long grass. I like that I can trap & keep poop on the tines. I think they are stronger than the flat scoops.
