Headstall and reins are very soft and flexible and do look like leather. However, the workmanship is a little slipshod - the connectors are cheap looking and the size is not quite what I expected for "horse size" is actually somewhere between horse and Cob. Browband a little tight for 15.3 h. Arab. Holes connecting headstall to bit were also punched very close to ends - not much "extra" for safety. Otherwise nice tack for the $$$.
