Very lightweight and comfortable! I took a hard fall and struck the back of my head (helmet) on a solid object. I looked at the helmet the next day and it was split in the back. That could have been my skull!

The saddle moved and I came off on a cement pad...my troxel sport which I have had since 2001, hit the cement and the styrofoam cracked, the helmut was not. My head is fine due to wearing the helmut, it has paid for itself. Thank you.

I was running my stud, he took a SHARP turn and completely wiped out. My head hit first with my helmet on. It took all the impact and flew off. I had lots of scratches and bruising and after I washed all my cuts I looked at my helmet and it had a huge chunk out of it... I have had 2 concussions under less than a year and if I had a 3rd one I couldnt ride again for a LONG time. and who knows after a 3rd one I could have gone completely bonkers! LOL So thanks to my helmet I can continue to ride. I just need to buy another one:)

This helmet saved my sisters life the other day!!! Although it scratched easily and wasnt the prettiest helmet in the world it did its job. My sister provoked my horse and was thrown off in the middle of the woods, she went flying, and got bashed against the tree(headfirst) bounced off, and hit the ground head first. she got up with only a few minor scratches and bruises. When she took her helmet off she walked away fine, when she threw her helmet into my tackbox, however, it cracked directly down the middle. We had a closer look at it and there was a huge stick going right through it which got stopped by the inside of the helmet! she would have been killed right then and there, but walked away unharmed!! It was her first helmet and i definetly recommend it for anything and anyone!!! if you want something prettier buy a helmet cover and everything works out great!! I have showed many times in this helmet with a velvet cover and noone said anything!! GREAT HELMET GREAT PRICE!!!

I bought this helmet as my first helmet and it only lasted for about 6 months before it was all scratched up and had holes in it. The bottom of the helmet is made of black styrofoam and is easy to make holes in it (with fingers or pencils). I would only recomend for very light riding (or for kids) and you must take extremely good care of it or else it will fall apart.

We do trail rides and have several of these helmets. They've been very sturdy from many uses per day-week-month-and now going on our 4th year with the same helmets. I ordered 2 more this year-not because they wore out but I needed more. The only thing is the visors won't stay on after many uses-and you need one a little bit larger for the large headed people!!
