The Ride’n Lite™ pad’s breakthrough Memory Felt™ center will instantly eliminate any concentrated, gravitational forces your saddle is now putting on your horse’s back and spine. The Ride’n Lite™ features a unique combination of Tacky-Too™ bottom, Memory Felt™ Orthopedic center, and durable Micro Suede Top. Special, contoured shape designed to match your horse’s withers. Memory foam center not only provides orthopedic support but it also acts like a “vacuum” for keeping moisture away from your horse’s back. Pad does not absorb moisture so it stays lightweight and cool. Comes with an extra pad thickness in the bar area to relieve painful pressure from your horse’s spine. Its special Tacky-Too bottom eliminates saddle pad slippage while promoting air circulation. This anti-bacterial and anti-fungal pad is easily cleaned. Leather wear plates. This is a great pad. Although, I would recommend that a saddle blanket be used under the pad to protect the horse from chaffing on the rear. The pad's edge has a type of rubber tubing that rubs on the horse. I tried moving the pad forward more which helped a little.

I love this pad. It is very durable and will not hold sweat. It is also very sticky and seems to be quite comfortable to my horse. If it is a poor fit as the last review said don't bother. If you have to use a blanket under it you defeat the purpose of the tacky-too.

I like this pad. It is a little long for my horse too. I had some soft material sewn to the back edge of the pad. Works good.

I have 2 of these pads. They are great.I have never had a problem with chaffing in the back. You may want to make sure the end of the pad is always clean. It will collect sweat that turns hard on the edges........
