I rescued Diego, my Thoroughbred Arabian cross, as a two
year old from Hurricane Katrina. He was an owner surrender and was very sickly and thin when I went and got him. You could see almost every one of his ribs, vertebra and hip bones. Over the course of several months we gave him all the
hay he wanted, good grain 3 times a day in small amounts with corn oil along with the vitamin supplement Manna Pro Sho-Glo.
He went from a very scraggly looking horse to quite the looker and now at 8 years old he competes in hunter/jumpers and we are learning some dressage. His coat condition, hoof condition and overall health is excellent! I'm very happy with how far he has come! Most people don't believe me when I tell them it's the same horse.
