I just bought this item and have not seen it yet. Im waiting for it to come. And people it says the bag is an arena bag. No where does it say it can hold saddles. This is a bag where you can through some saddle blankets, brushes, cones, ect. Im planning on getting this for my saddle blankets when i show. Much less cheaper than getting actual saddle blanket carriers!

Was attracted by the low price but after a year, the seams split along the side. I don't carry the bag - simply use it to store the saddle during some months of non-use. Looks good but not well made.

This is an overgrown nylon duffle bag. It doesn't work very well as a saddle bag for three reasons:
1. The interior surface of the nylon is rough and made obvious rub marks on my nubuck leather saddle after one day's use
2. For western saddles, there's no place to put your fenders in this non-shaped bag except to fold them up under the saddle.
3. Finally, even with a very lightweight saddle (endurance)the bag was awkward to carry.
If you wnmat a really large duffle bag to pack everything you own, go for it. (I use it now to keep my show pads from getting dusty and it holds a tlot of them) If you want a saddle carry bag, go with a shaped bag designed for a saddle with a balanced strap and room for your fenders.
