good spray, 8/7/2011

kris from oklahoma

This works best if the horse is bathed first and allowed to dry before spraying. It lasts a LONG time then. I bought it to use on my 42 year old gelding because he is allergic to tick bites. If they bite his sheath area he swells up terribly. He doesn't get bothered by ticks, flies or botflies when I use this. He is old and I don't want him stomping or rolling because the flies bother him, with this he doesn't even have to swish his tail! It makes him very comfortable. This is the best product I have found that really works and is reasonably priced. Ultrashield works but is too expensive and Bronco is WORTHLESS. This is a happy medium.

Keep Flies Away For About 5 Minutes!, 7/5/2011

gwhorse from Danville, CA

Unfortunately, I was really disappointed with this spray. It was effective at all for repelling the flies.

Keeps the blood suckers away..., 6/27/2010

Jamie from

I can use it on my hyper-sensitive, thin skinned mare without issues. Seems to repel those nasty little gnats and mosquitoes well. I do apply it nightly, but my mare is severely allergic to bug bites. I doubt I'd ever get away with only spraying her every 7 days with any flyspray, even covered in her fly mask, sheet & neck rug.

Effective fly spray!, 5/20/2010

Kathy from

This is an excellent, effective product and my favorite fly spray! I spray my horse every time I visit the barn in the summer, particularly before every ride so that he can focus and his job and not the flies. I also cover his eyes and spray it in his ears, since he tends to get very bad ear mites or flies laying eggs in his ears if I don't. Use common sense and don't saturate your horse's skin with it, of course, but it works great!

Great product!, 9/2/2008

deb from TC, MN

Weve used this all summer and it is by far the best fly spray weve had in several years. Does a nice job of keeping flies down and the horses comfortable no stomping, shaking or swishing!
