how often do you need to apply the spray?

Best Answer: I keep my horse in a large natural dry land pasture (semi desert - south central Colorado). If untreated, the horse is plagued by gnats and deerflies and develops sores on her chest and between her legs where the gnats seek moisture from her sweat. Surprisingly West Nile is also a concern here. I have been spaying troubled areas (lightly) and the rest of her body (sparingly) with UltraShield Green once a day and a little lighter application to the same areas with UltraShield Score every 2 or 3 days. My application plan/schedule is based only on my sense of what appears to be needed and the belief that the UltraShield Score ingredients reside and remain active as advertised. The treatment seems to work. The gnat induced sores that she was developing before I started the treatment about a month ago are gone and the horse seems to be less stressed by flying insects.
