it's supposed to rust!, 12/27/2011

Sweet iron should rust to encourage the horse to salivate. The aluminum shanks will not rust. Very good bit for the price, well balanced, good feel.

do not BUY! from Cadyville, NY

I bought this bit for my daughter to show. Within two times of using it it began to rust. I tried to clean it, but the rust and corrosion wouldn't come off. I do not recommend this bit to anyone!
