What a difference in very little time, 5/8/2012

Cat from Dafter, MI

4 days ago my mare was coughing, had a white discharge from her left nostril and it sounded like she was trying to bring up a hairball her breathing wasn't normal! I talked with her vet first. Anyways I started her that night and within two doses the cough was gone, very little discharge and her breathing resumed to normal :) She had a normal temp and wasn't in distress ate and drank normally. 5 doses (given every 12 hours) and she back to 100%...I highly recommend with your vets approval to give this a try, I hope it works for your horse as it did mine. I also have a pony that had a bit of a cough as well and started him the same time with 100% results in 3 doses...as recommend by my vet I also have been spraying water over the hay just to be safe. Maybe a bit of difference in this batch of hay started an allegri. Hoping once back on pasture all is clear. Two very happy horses and an owner :)

Good bye allergies!, 4/9/2012

Bobbi from Charlotte, NC

I had my horse on Trihist through allergy season the last two years with little relief. Anihist has worked SO much better. His sneezing stopped and he thinks it is more palatable. I don't find it left over in the bottom of the feed bowl like I did with the Trihist.

Saved my Horses Life, 11/29/2011

Lynda Koch from West Point, MS

This is an amazing product. My Horse Prince Charming was diagnosed 5 years ago with hives. It got worst and worst even with medical attention. He has to stay now on a steriod all year long, but in the summer it gotten so bad I thought I have to euthanise him. My Vet said he has really bad allergies that are setting him off, but the Anti Histamines he could sell me cost $100.00's each month. I couldn't afford this. I saw AniHist on this Website and I thought, well for that price I can do no wrong. It was amazing, within 3 days my horse showed major improvement, within 1 week he was breathing easy and I could reduce the steriod to a minimum. It really saved his life, I can even ride him now once in aweile. My Vet wrote the information down and is passing it on to other Horseowners. Thank you sincerely Lynda and Prince

Wonderful Product!, 6/22/2011

Jennifer from Elk Grove Village, IL

AniHist worked wonders for my TB gelding that has really bad respiratory allergies. This is the only product that works. He only gets one scoop a day in his morning feed and thats it. He used to cough a lot and his nose and eyes would run all the time. Now he has only the occasional cough and his eyes and nose run a lot less. It also has greatly helped with his headshaking.

Great product, 3/27/2011

kari from AZ,AZ

My mare has skin allergies and this worked great to keep her from breaking out in hives. Now I don't have to be as careful when someone else rides her and uses the wrong fly spray or shampoo. My mare no longer gets welts from the bugs either.

Worked for My Horse! , 10/9/2010

Sarah from Marshall, NC

I have an older mare who has struggled with breathing on and off for awhile. My vet has prescribed her several different bronchodialators in the past, but I believe this has worked better than them all! However, I have been warned to be cautious with these -- they sometimes work and sometimes not. I guess it depends on the horse, but it definitely works for her! I think it's worth trying, especially for only around $15! It smells nice, too. :)

i have allergies, she has allergies, 4/9/2010

Amber from

I have a 16 yo qh mare that every spring/summer she gets the coughs and sneezies like I do. About the same time I start taking my antihistamines, I start her on the Anihist and within 2 days I see a difference. It's a nice powder that mixes well in feed, smells like vanilla cookies, the cost isn't bad and its better than using steroids long term. We like it.

Anihist work wonders!, 10/28/2009

L. Schultz from Wisconsin

Anihist works very well for the coughing associated with seasonal allergies for my horse. I used to grab the Dexamethaone at the first sign of cough, but since this is not good to use very often, I decided to try Anihist. It gives immediate relief of the coughing. I keep it on had at all times. The prescription drug "Trihist" that my vet dispensed, did not work at all.

Great with seasonal allergies, 2/8/2009

Andrea from Long Lake, MN

This product is I think the same as a product no longer on the market which was called Mirahist. It really works well for a horse with seasonal allergies. I was delighted to find it when I could no longer find Mirahist.
