I'VE HAD MY HORSE ON THIS FOR SEVERAL YEARS BECAUSE BEFORE HIS FEET GREW SO SLOW AND WERE BRITTLE. NOW I'M WRITING THIS IN ALL CAPITOLS, BECAUSE HE NOW GROWS ALMOST A HALF INCH AND HOLDS HIS SHOES FOR THE SEVEN TO EIGHT WEEKS BETWEEN SHOES. SO I STICK WITH WHAT WORKS.

My 24yo OTTB has had hoof issues with previous owners - using it as a preventative and maintenance on the great hooves he has NOW.

really notice longer manes after a dew months of using. Not crazy long, but longer....so it works! Also if you have a horse with bad hooves this will help them become healthier.

Great results - my husband is a farrier and he recommends it all the time.

If I get this and put my horse on it for a certain amount of time, and if I take her off will her feet condition decrease?
A shopper on Jun 29, 2015
Best Answer: That will depend on weather conditions, the health of your horse and if she was born with bad feet. Some breeds are know for bad feet. It has helped my horses get through some very bad weather conditions. Here we have a lot of wet weather then goes to very dry. Of the four I only have one that still needs it.

is this ok to use on my dog for his nails? If it is, what would the dosage be for an 80# dog (he has symmetrical lupoid onychodystrophy and has been on a biotin supplement for over 6 months.

Best Answer: It works for my horse but I have no idea if it works for a dog. I give my horse one TBSP every night and he is around 1200#. There is biotin for humans - the dosage must be closer to evaluate.
