My large Arab lost a lot of weight and muscle during the winter-hoping to get the muscle back

I love this product for my horses in the spring as I begin to leg them back up, this really helps to elimate any soreness issues they may have, also great if you compete in two day rodeos to give for your horse to keep him feeling great both days or rigorous training. Or old horses before and after a long trail.

Will this make my horse hot? Looking to strengthen muscles surrounding stifles. Had minor results with exercise and want a boost.
Diane H on Nov 18, 2014
Best Answer: I have been feeding AniMed Muscle-UP to an older quarter horse mare that is a hard keeper and has joint issues from gaming. I don't think it made her "hot" at all. The most obvious effect that it has is that it stimulates her appetite, so she is eating more. I have not seen significant weight gain either, but she does have better muscle tone, and appears to be more comfortable.

is this product safe for yearlings in training?
A shopper on Jul 13, 2014
Best Answer: I'm not sure. I feed it to an 8yr old. I wouldn't think it would be harmful though.

Can you feed this to a young horse like around four or five years of age?
Marsha McCay on Feb 25, 2014
Best Answer: I feed this to my horses three years and up... I find it helps keep them together when they normally would get lanky.. it hasn't affected those horses started at three down the road in anyway... I think its a great suppliment to add to finish out their diet
