I used this initially on my big 2-year-old appendix as he had occasional physitis issues. After a short period of supplementing him with this MSM, he became totally sound and never had another soreness issue. He is a happy, sound 4-year-old now. It worked so well that I tried it on my 16-year-old quarter horse. I hadn't noticed any issues with him previously, but found that after a short time on MSM, he started galloping around and playing with the youngsters as if he were one. He seems looser, happier, and his gaits are more fluid. Both my guys are happy, happy campers on MSM.

This is a good price for amount of MSM per ounce. It doesn't get hard and I noticed no side effects (horse has been on it for 6 months). My only complaint is that the 5lb container is hard to open and its not very convenient for quickly feeding, but I had an old container from another supplement with a flip open lid so I just dumped this supplement in there and I'm good.

Years ago I bought a retired Thouroghbred with some joint and hock issues. In fact one vet advised my TB shouldnt even be ridden after exraying one of his hocks. (Yes, vets can be wierd)... I had him on MSM on and off for some years. And just recently had his joints re ex-rayed, the vet was pleasantly surprised seeing that my 20 year old has better joints that his MUCH much younger conterparts (other 5 and 7 year olds he was ex-raying the same day). My TB is going strong, absolutely no joint issues, in fact he moves like a sound and happy 2 year old! Now I'm adding it to my two Warmbloods meals as a precaution... Yay for MSM.

I have a 27 year old Peruvian mare. She started to stumble a bit when I rode her and also seemed a bit stiff on the beginning of our rides. I started to feed her your MSM product every day.Her stumbling has almost completely stopped and she no longer seems stiff. We started feeding it to a couple of our other horses after we noticed that my mares mane is almost twice as long as it used to be. I owned her for 17 years and the only difference in her diet is the MSM supplement. The two other horses that are now getting the supplement are also showing lots of new growth in their manes. Has anyone else ever noticed this? What a bonus!

I always thought that all pure MSM's were created equal, but I was sure wrong! My horse has heaves and some brands of "pure" MSM will cause him to become very heavey (with NO other changes to diet or environment). I tried 4 different brands of MSM before I tried AniMed MSM... needless to say this is the only MSM that did not make him heavey!
