I've lost not one, but two horses to founder. My vet says it's just incredibly bad luck but I'm not taking any chances. All of my horses are on low-starch diets and my cresty "equine metabolic syndrome" little Arab mare is on this stuff, in addition to being on a dry lot as many as 20 hours a day. Anyway, it really seems to help (especially since she's trapped in the barnyard 6 months of the year!). She looks great, in perfect weight and with beautiful feet, and is shedding out very nicely. I know you can't pin all that on a scoop of something once a day, but I do consider Remission to be an important part of what's working very well for her. 10 pounds will last you a good long while, and Miss Picky will eat it, too. All in all it's a great value for the dollar. After a great last year with Remission, I'm here ordering another 10 pounds!

After foundering 7 months ago, I can now drive my mini mare. Farrier can't believe her progress! Remission and B-L Pellets have saved this mare! Farrier wants to pass on my recommendation to his other clients.

This product is really amazing and works so well. My Welsh/Arab mare was so fat when we rescued her and I thought she would for sure founder. We put her on Remission immediately with a multivitamin and hay only, and she is doing AMAZING. This stuff is worth it!

I have a 5 yr old Appendix Q-horse. For a couple of years now he has had a big cresty neck and after researching this more and found out about insulin resistance, I also noticed more of a fatty tail head on him. I had always wrote it off as him being a q-horse and having a solid blocky build. His neck thinned a little over winter but then in the spring he'd fill out more again. He never went lame on me but I noticed more of his stance resting in the stall he'd have his front feet positioned out further and/or maybe his back ones out the back a little like they do when they founder. I'd feel his hooves and feel heat. After searching the web I came across Remission. Purchased it, started him on a low starch/sugar feed, cut back the amount of feed he used to get, restricted the amount of hay and I am trying to follow the best time periods for grazing and within a week his neck went down as well as his tail head. After being on it a month his neck is down to normal and he has thinned out all over his body. His hooves are usually cool unless he's had a little too much but they always cool off again. This product is amazing. And whats better is all the other ingredients are so good for them. It's not just the mag. or chrom. as some of the other products are that are on the market. I totally recommend this supplement.

I purchased this for a 2 year old miniature mare that had signs of founder in all 4. She could barely walk 20 feet prior to getting this. Within 1 month of use she was walking with the rest of my minis and in two months she was running and bucking as if nothing was wrong with her! If you have a horse that has foundered buy this and watch them progress. It saved her life.

I love this stuff! We tried alot of other stuff for an IR.pony. He hated the rest and it didn't work, very well. He is not much on poweder supplements, but he eats it!! He has keep a good healthy weight on this product, his coat shines, hoofs are perfect and he can be on pasture! (NO MUZZLE):) The cost is way low if you compair to the rest of IR or founder supplements. 4lbs. last me 3 months. I still do loading dose daily so thats 2scoops a day. This product has also made my son's pony calmer and more level headed!! A must try product and you won't be sorry!! Been using Remission for 2yrs. and don't plan to ever stop!

This product saved my mare's life, period. She was having such a terrible time that I was starting to come to terms with the very real possibility that we might have to consider euthanasia. But after doing some research, I found this product and read all the wonderful, and extremely helpful, reviews, and decided we had nothing to lose. Well, not only did this product help her fully recover from her latest bout with founder -- in combination with the equally outstanding product, Equine America B-L Pellets -- but she has been happy and sound ever since. Words simply cannot describe the feeling I get while watching her move around in total comfort, and play once again with her equine family out in the pasture. Sorry to seem so dramatic, but this product saved my mare and spared our family from losing one of our most treasured members.

Remission successfully prevents and treats laminitis. It can be fed by hand, in feed, or added to a free choice mineral mix. If fed consistently through the months of green grass, you can avoid any "tender feet", or full-fledged founder. I have recommended this product to my vets and my farrier.

My horse grew 1/2 inch healthy hoof wall in less than a month after I started him on Remission! Farrier had to come out early and said whatever I was feeding him was working and not to stop it! Remission is the only new additive to his diet, so I knew it was the reason! Whoppie!

I give this to my horses as soon as the spring grass starts coming up to prevent founder. One of the horses is fat and would be at risk. So far, after two years use, no problems at all. The price is very reasonable on Horse.com so I will continue to use it.

My retired reining horse foundered for the first time six years ago. I pulled him off pasture & put him on a low starch diet as prescribed by the vet. Three months later he foundered again. The next year we went through two more sessions of founder & I feared having to put the poor guy out of his misery. As a last resort, I bought a tub of Remission. He's been on it ever since, gets to be in the pasture with his friends again & just celebrated his 34th birthday.

I have a 31 year old Molly Mule that had foundered in the past (before I got her), has fat pockets, (insolin resistant founder). I just recently moved her to a new boarding faciltiy because the place I had her had fed a full bail (free chioce) 4'x8' of pure alfalfa! She has been on remisson for about three months. She has had no adverse reaction to having been fed the alfalfa and I am wondering if it is because I had her on the Remission already for 2 months prior. There is realy no way to prove for sure that the remission "saved her", but I hate to think what might have happened had she not been on it!
Thanks for a great product! I will keep her on it to insure her good health!

One of our mares had repeated problems with her hooves ever since she's owned us :) Because she has a slight cresty neck I am very picky about what we give her. She has done VERY well on Remission. I started giving it to all our horses about 3 months ago. We have a new farrier who told us this is the first time he has ever seen 5 horses together ALL with excellent hooves. It really is a great value too!

Our pony who suffers from chronic laminitis when the weather gets colder has not shown any signs of the condition this year. I will continue to use Remission and Rusty the pony is very thankful for this product.

My horse has issues with foundering and once again, symptoms were appearing. In searching, I came across REMISSION and after reading the reviews, decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did! I followed the directions and within a week, I could see a change in him. I have been using REMISSION for a month now and he get around like his normal self - running, trotting. I now make it part of his daily diet. I would highly recommend this product to anyone whose horse has foundering issues.

Michael Happ from Beaufort,
After our Big mare ( Clyde/Morgan cross ) had a bout with Laminitis; I researched all the products out there. What a relief to have found this product! By reducing this mares sweet feed intake to the bare minimum and adding " REMISSION " to her vitamin regemin...what a complete turn-a-round she has made! I whole heartedly recommend this product for any age horse with Laminitis ( founder type ) problems. M. Happ Beaufort,S.C.

My 19 yr. old mare foundered on Christmas Day 2005. Following a long initial recovery time, she had good days and bad days for about a year and a half after that, until I found Remission by accident and decided to try it. I was surprised by the improvement I saw in her! I didn't expect a miracle, and she is still a bit sore on occasion, but she is getting around great, even running and kicking up her heels! I recently asked my vet about Remission, and she told me that, yes, it works, and she's seen plenty of horses to prove it. It makes me wonder why she never recommended it for my horse?? Anyway, I'm glad I found it and I'm going to keep using it.

I purchased this product for my 23 yr old gelding who was cresty in the neck and had the fatty pockets behind the withers, on top of the tail bone and above the eyes. After just a few days on the product I saw rapid improvement. After one month all symptoms have resided. Excellent product at a great price.

My horse didn't have founder but is 29. I was looking for some good supplements and after reading the ingredients I thought this could help. First, the product smells so good I want to eat it myself. He likes the taste of it. After a few months on the product he looks so shiny, his feet look great and he has lost a few girth holes. Also his manure has changed from being one big pile to being nicely formed normal manure. I'm very pleased. I think it is a great value.

I have been using this on my easy keeper mare who is cresty and it has taken the crest totally down and her weight is easier to control. I would higly recommend this product. I used to use Quiensence which worked well also, but this works just as well for much less money.

After my mare's hooves were ruined by a"recommended" farrier, my new farrier recommended adding magnesium to grow out stronger hooves faster with better heals. After researching, choose your product. It has worked fantastic, even my new farrier was amazed.

I've been using Remission for my two horses with chronic laminitis issues. Along with grass intake management, the Remission has been a huge help in keeping them from acute episodes. It has helped me to be able to keep my older, endocrine-challenged Paso Fino on the trail, where he acts like a 5 year-old!

I have been giving this to my insulin resistant pony that foundered over a year ago. She was doing so well on it, that I now feed it to all of my horses that tend to be easy keepers. It is a very affordable price too!

I am giving this to an insulin-resistant pony who had a laminitis episode over the winter. His feet are nearly back to normal--he walks and trots freely; even throws in the odd gallop. His weight has improved substantially. It is easy to feed and palatable. I credit this product with helping him to heal.
