Leather Wrap on Heals is Cheap & Horrible, 4/17/2013

In 6 months, the leather that wraps these heals came off. A few nicks, rocks and moisture and the leather is shot Underneath the leather is a white plastic heal - compliments of China. The problem is, no shoe repair place can fix them for under $60 bucks. If you wear your boots regularly, these won't hold up. At this point, I am inclined to stay away from Chinese-made boots.
