I bought this over a year ago and at first it was great. I liked how soft and flexible it was. But the more I used it, the less I liked it. The snap is very hard to open, it's always a pain to switch leads. And after just a short while of using it, it started to unravel. Now, I'm pretty hard on my lead lines, by letting them drag when my horse grazes (if you call that hard i guess), but I did not like at all how quickly it fell apart. If you are easy on your leads, then this would probably be fine for you (but don't forget that nasty snap) but it's not for me. I don't recommend this product. I honestly don't see how anyone could, it unraveled and frayed waay to quickly. But maybe mine was just defective. Anyway, hope this helped!

I had this lead rope for over a year and it worked great! It didn't unravel or start to fray and the color didn't fade at all! It broke in half though when my gelding decided to throw a tantrum in the trail and it got caught, but in that case the fact that it broke is a good thing! Will buy again!

I love these leads just as long as you aren't constently taking them off all the time I take these off like ocne a week and its a little hard but you can't break them! i have trigger and spring clip snaps but the break, these lead won't let you down when dealing with a crazy horse like mine... LOVE THESE LEADS!

They dont look the best but who cares, it is a lead rope! Doesnt give your hands rope burns like non-cotton leads and yes the bull snaps are harder to put on but they are so much stronger then the regular straps. Plus, they do not become stiff like most other lead ropes.

When I got my new horse, this lead line came with it. I have been riding the horse for 3 years and I still have it. It is chew resistant (Most of the time), Not stiff at all, and the texture is easy to grip. The bull snap is not the most convenient, but it is incredibly strong and worth the money. The only thing that I do not like about it is the appearance. For around the barn it is fine, but for at shows and formal riding occasions, you are better off getting a different lead rope. Another thing that I do not like about it is that it gets dirty fairly quickly, and if you try to wash it off, it is not water resistant. I have found that some of the weaving starts to come undone, but other than that it is a great product! I would reccomend it someone on a budget that wants a well made lead line! :D

We got a few of them two years ago and they all broke! They're just too cheaply made but for the price maybe you could see using them for a year?

I love it.It feels so good on my hands. The snap is very strong. The lead rope in blue looks amazingly great with a blue halter. I love Stateline as well it has great service. My first order they forgot one thing and I called them. I got it two days later plus a free book. You pay for seven to ten day shipping and it shows up in like four days. It is Great!!!!!!!

I ordered this lead before, but it seems to have dropped in it's quality. I know it's bargain-priced but it's very lightweight, and appears to be made of (many-times) recycled materials. Just don't like the feel, look or any of it.
