Rated 3 out of 5 by good product...good price...bad fit I really like these splint boots for what they only major dislike about them is that they only come in one size and it does NOT fit my roughly 900lb 14.3h horse...even when i pull them as tight as i can they slide down because they are too big for him...if only i had a bigger horse...or they sold them in a smaller size :) March 10, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome! Great boots at a fabulous price! They fit my Icelandic mare perfectly! I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase and will definitely be buying these boots again in the future. February 8, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love These Boots. I was actually afraid that these would fall apart because they are so cheap but after many uses I find that they are very durable! They fit my Morgan mare perfectly. The one and only petty problem I have is that the purple is more on the pink side. That's all though. These are amazing boots and for this price, you won't find better. January 31, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by AMAZING I LOVE THEM these have been great, I recommend them to ANYONE english or western! Why buy splint boots for alot of money, when you can get Great quality ones for a low price!Buy these for sure!!! December 30, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by quality/color The quality of these splint boots are awesome, they feel heavy and "tough". The only thing I was not happy with was the color, I ordered them in pink, and to me is seems more "lavender". I was hoping they would match my saddle pad that I purchased last year, but they don't. I am not sending them back, because the quality, and price over rules the color. Thanks,!!! Looking forward to buying more products!! T.Mason in Ky. December 26, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic!! I love these boots! they are great and i use them every time i ride. im actually buying my second pair now! November 28, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great boots for a great price These are really great boots for the price! Nice and padded, and the velcro is good. I have used them for cross country (going through water and all) and stadium and they are wonderful, don't slip at all. My only complaint is that they only come in one size, so you can't get them to fit the back legs. Also, the metal parts have a couple small rust spots, but nothing that can't be fixed. Great product and highly recommended! November 12, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by This is an awsume product!! :D These splint boots are awsume in price, quality, pet approval, and overall a great way to protect your horse! i have a 14.3 hand 9 yearold chestnut quarter horse. he has only worn these boots a cuple of times but LOVES them!(blue)i barrel race and the whole time i practiced they didn't slip! the only downer to them is you have to tighten th bottom one and the top one tighter than the middle for it to stay for a LONG time. and the blue one is alot darker then in the picture! but other than that these boots are GREAT !!!:D October 9, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by I LOVE THESE these are the best boots you can ever have. I would really recimend these to anybody. September 18, 2011
Rated 1 out of 5 by Wont buy again I bought this for my older Arabian. It did not fit around his legs.It started to come apart. The velcro was coming off.I will not be buying this product again. September 10, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful Price! I love this things. It fits all my horses leg. I have 4 pairs (I boot all 4 legs on my horses) and I am going to buy more soon! They have protected my horse's legs and have not fallen apart. The colors are great to. (The colors have not faded.) The are light weight, easy to put on and off, never carrys burrs, to clean all you need to do is to brush the inside of the boot to remove hair(or if it is muddy wash off with water), and they do not mess with the horse's movement. I have a black pair for when I go to local jumping shows. I use this boots for trailing, jumping, lounging, and just about every time I ride. I have even got a comment when I wore my green pair trail riding. It was worth every penny. March 20, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great! I love this splint boot. These were my first splint boots and me and my horse love them! They're great for riding. My horse had some leg issues and I used these to give her support, now her leg is great! January 6, 2011

I dont want to her her legs.... sooo if anyone could help that would be great! Thanks September 10, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by GREAT! these boots are great! they dont slip or fall! they are sturdy and padded very thick but it is very good(: the only thing is if you put them just on little bit to tight they will make marks on your horse and they dont like to come off! you have to rly scrub on their legs or get a brush and rub against it! Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Buy! I bought these for my quarter horse mare. She has small legs, so I bought a medium. They fit her GREAT! They are easy to clean, and nice and thick. I use them when jumping, and for everything else. They fit my arabians, my 17 hand thotoughbred, and even my spotted saddle horse, who has huge legs. Very versatile, and they look great! Rated 4 out of 5 by satisfied Bought these to use on my quarter horse mare, who has small legs. They fit her well, even though they must be done up as tight as they can. I have not tried cleaning them yet, but they have stayed pretty clean. They were worn while jumping, and never slipped. Nicely padded, and a good buy March 6, 2010

Never used a splint boot before but I wanted some front leg protection that would not interfere with my Cavallo boots. These were low priced enough to give them a try

Have had several pairs of these boots. Like their ease of use and durability.

would these fit my cob - sized horse? thanks :)
A shopper on Jul 28, 2015
Best Answer: Hello, unfortunately I think they would be a little too big for a cob. I bought mine for some very stocky Haflingers. You’re better off buying a pair where u can select "small" or "cob" like these good luck!

Is the price listed per 1 boot or for 1 pair? I don't want to enter a qty of 1 and have only one boot show up, LOL!
A shopper on May 12, 2014
Best Answer: Pricing is per pair - I ordered 2 pairs and 4 boots arrived.

how many come in one order?
A shopper on Oct 31, 2015
Best Answer: They were sold as a pair. So 2. They will fit on back legs or front ,I would probably go up a size for back. They seem to run true to size or slightly larger. These boots are great! Easy to wash and don't seem to collect sand like the full support boots. They give plenty of support and are fairly hard to mess up when when put them on. So like good for kids to apply. Enjoy a great product that price really well!

Best Answer: Yes sold as a pair (2) They are great! I have tried all kinds of boots and these are really all you need for daily use. Easy to wash. :-) I would say they run true to size.

Is there certain boots for the rear legs? Are these boots for the front? Is the Velcro supposed to be on the outside of the leg?
A shopper on Nov 30, 2014
Best Answer: Hi, splint boots are typically for the front legs, though they might work on the back. However, splint boots don't fit really well on the hind legs. And the velcro should be on the outside so that the padding protects the inside of the leg. The velcro goes front to back, so when you are done putting them on, the velcro tab should be pointing behind your horse. Good luck!

is this splint boot for both the front and back legs? Does it matter left or right leg? Thanks'
Greg M on May 29, 2014
Best Answer: There's a right and a left. The Velcro should close toward the back of the front to back. They work for front or back. You may need a slightly larger size for the back legs.

Do you recommend these boots if my horse has a calcium deposit on his legs from hitting his legs together when he runs? or a different type of boot?
A shopper on Mar 12, 2014
Best Answer: I would definitely recommend these for your horse. Their main purpose and function is to protect the forelegs. Is the deposit on the inside of the leg? If so, are you sure it is not a popped splint?
