Rated 5 out of 5 by Love them! These boots are great! They are much cheaper than the comparable boots at Dover, and I love the finished look that the trim gives. The stitching is done well, and the material is sturdy. I bought blue, hoping they would be royal, and they were. They fit my 15.2 thick-legged gelding well. I have not had them long, but they are identical to a burgundy pair I bought at Tractor Supply 5 years ago that have held up well (with only minor rust spots on the hardware). Now if only they came in hunter green--I read other reviews and was afraid of getting lime green. How about stocking both colors? :) Overall, great buy, and would definitely order again! May 16, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by jhfseuilfpa • Non-window gift box • The boxing and unboxing of Premium products would be nice enough to give as a gift without wrapping. Elegant, simple and beautiful with internal trays in Levana orange, possibility of white or levana blue ribbon tied around the tray inside (Andrew did not like this idea)  • Levana premium product have 2 year warranty (Andrew did not like this idea) • A thank you/congratulations card is included with the details of what makes the product premium (this is going to be difficult to manage if  March 27, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by FANTASTIC This is a great product that I use every time I ride. I have had two pair for over a year and they have no wear and tear at all! I ride almost 365 days a year! These are great and I would never recommend any other product! February 20, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love these! I bought the hunter green color because i read that the other colors are lighter then pictured. And when i got them they were really lime green. Which i was so happy about because that is my horse's color and i couldnt find aany boots in that color. Anyway they look great and they are very sturdy. I actually love these boots and i will probably be buying more of these! January 20, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice boots I got them in pink for my bay OTTB gelding. He looks good on them and the colour is exactly as shown. They are almost too big for him though. And you can tell how cheap they are by looking at them, but they have held up so far. November 25, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by AMAZING GREAT boots, they have held up very nicely...for 12$ they are perfect. And if they get muddy, I just hose them off with a hose and they look brand new again! Have gotten some rust spots on the buckles, but that doesnt effect the quality of the boots. 100% reccomended. :) August 21, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Boots! I really like these splint boots. The quality seems incredible for the price, and they are easy to clean. The only thing is, my mare has skinny TB legs, and these are almost too big for them (still fit, but borderline). Sh also sweats a lot under them, which isn't exactly the boots- neoprene doesn't breath too well, so I don't use them unless I lunge her or do rollbacks, etc. Would 100% recommend. July 28, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for turnout! These boots are awesome for turnout! They stay on and hold up nicely, and are easy to replace since they are so inexpensive. My horse used to get banged up a lot in his field, and now he is fine! Pair these with pull on bell boots and you are set. Wouldn't use them for riding, I like the nicer splint boots. July 16, 2012

My horse has been clipping his legs when ridden which causes cuts. These protect his legs very well.

Never used a splint boot before but I wanted some front leg protection that would not interfere with my Cavallo boots. These were low priced enough to give them a try

would these fit my cob - sized horse? thanks :)
A shopper on Jul 28, 2015
Best Answer: Hello, unfortunately I think they would be a little too big for a cob. I bought mine for some very stocky Haflingers. You’re better off buying a pair where u can select "small" or "cob" like these good luck!

Is the price listed per 1 boot or for 1 pair? I don't want to enter a qty of 1 and have only one boot show up, LOL!
A shopper on May 12, 2014
Best Answer: Pricing is per pair - I ordered 2 pairs and 4 boots arrived.

how many come in one order?
A shopper on Oct 31, 2015
Best Answer: They were sold as a pair. So 2. They will fit on back legs or front ,I would probably go up a size for back. They seem to run true to size or slightly larger. These boots are great! Easy to wash and don't seem to collect sand like the full support boots. They give plenty of support and are fairly hard to mess up when when put them on. So like good for kids to apply. Enjoy a great product that price really well!

Best Answer: Yes sold as a pair (2) They are great! I have tried all kinds of boots and these are really all you need for daily use. Easy to wash. :-) I would say they run true to size.

Is there certain boots for the rear legs? Are these boots for the front? Is the Velcro supposed to be on the outside of the leg?
A shopper on Nov 30, 2014
Best Answer: Hi, splint boots are typically for the front legs, though they might work on the back. However, splint boots don't fit really well on the hind legs. And the velcro should be on the outside so that the padding protects the inside of the leg. The velcro goes front to back, so when you are done putting them on, the velcro tab should be pointing behind your horse. Good luck!

is this splint boot for both the front and back legs? Does it matter left or right leg? Thanks'
Greg M on May 29, 2014
Best Answer: There's a right and a left. The Velcro should close toward the back of the front to back. They work for front or back. You may need a slightly larger size for the back legs.

Do you recommend these boots if my horse has a calcium deposit on his legs from hitting his legs together when he runs? or a different type of boot?
A shopper on Mar 12, 2014
Best Answer: I would definitely recommend these for your horse. Their main purpose and function is to protect the forelegs. Is the deposit on the inside of the leg? If so, are you sure it is not a popped splint?
