This is the only one I will buy, 4/25/2013

Got some of theses in white a few years ago. I love them! They are crisp white, easy to tie with, won't burn your hand if a horse bolts and are really heavy weight. I had my tack shop order in white cotton leads from 3 places and not one of them was 3/4 thick or nearly as nice. These are the only cotton leads I take to the shows. And if someone hadn't "borrowed" them I wouldn't even need to replace them yet. I hope State Line keeps these forever.

Basic Solid Brass Bolt Snap Cotton Lead Rope from GA

I love this cotton lead & the large bolt snap. I like the fact that it's 10' which comes in handy when you have larger posts or trees you're tying to. I would have liked it to be a bit cheaper, but I'll probably end up buying several more here because I can't find them close to where I live.
