I have a 22 year old Arab gelding that has a very deep swayback and this pad fits him wonderfully! He really seems to enjoy riding bareback more than with a saddle, and with this pad I can ride comfortably and feel very secure in the seat. We walk, trot, and canter when doing arena work and it has never slipped. I'd consider using this out on the trails as well. Everyone I know that has or has used this pad loves it. I'd recommend this to everyone, but if your horse has swayback or really high withers, this is the pad for you. If this one ever wears out, I'll buy another.

AMAZING...it doesn't push down on my horses high boney withers after tightening the girth! Stays in place on horse, I stick to the seat, super cushy and comfy, and my horse was nice and relaxed the whole ride! I HIGHLY recommend this producct! I'm SO thrilled to be able to ride bareback now!

I hate riding in a saddle but don't feel like getting my pants all dirty and sweaty from the horse. It's nice and padded for long rides and it doesn't slide around much. Mine is starting to look pretty old now, after a couple years and hundreds of rides, but still holding up well, considering all the use it's gotten. All the stitching is still good and holding together well and padding is still even. The pocket is a plus too. My horse seems to like it a lot better than a saddle too. I'll be ordering another one soon.

I love the suede surface, it is incredibly 'grippy' and I feel very secure in this. Until buying this pad I've always been skeptical of bareback pad but this one is a cut above the rest!!

These pads are so great! They are very durable, breathable, do not slip and are very comfortable. They have a bit of extra padding right over the withers that really helps with my older thoroughbred- makes riding him bareback painless ;) When I bought mine, they only had the tan available, which brings me to my one and only critique- If you ride in jeans, the color of your jeans will immediately come off on the pad. Even so, everyone at the barn raved about it when I got it and they all asked if they could borrow it. Well worth the money to get a quality product that you won't have to replace every couple of years!! I'm about to buy another one for my husband to use ;)

My mother took us on a week long trail/camping expedition and these pads were amazing. They allowed us to carry water phones and anything else while still being comfortable. Well worth the money

I got these for $35 when they first came out. Now they are twice that. Don't like that...BUT I WILL PAY IT! These are the best pads anywhere. They have neoprene type bottom and suede top...and the girth comes with it is also a vented neoprene type. I have had my first one for 4 years now...and JUST TORE THE SEAM WHERE THE GRAP STRAP and PAD CONNECT. I just ordered 2 more of these. They are the best. Have a pocket in the back on one side for anything you want to take with you and a drink holder/bottle on the other. I have put 20 oz soda's in there and they stay...I LOVE IT!!!

I bought this pad last year. I have never liked riding in a saddle and I do all my trail riding bareback. Before buying this pad, I was using just a fleece pad. It slid all over the place and it was so hot and not breathable at all. This pad stays put and has a very comfortable girth for my horse. I love having the pocket and bottle holder too. The pocket is very deep and secures tightly. The water bottle holder keeps your bottle in place too. The suede seat keeps you in place whether you are going up steep hills or down steep hills! I have used it probably 100 times and it isn't showing any signs of wear! I will never buy another brand of bareback pad again!
