Safe for Sensitive Skin, 9/10/2009
from South East

My horse has very sensitive skin, so I've done my research on all of the different types of fly spray out there. This stuff is great, I've used it for close to five years now and I've never has a problem with it. For those of you who have used the "natural" fly spray for sensitive skinned horses (only to discover that it gives them diarrhea) this is a better alternative. I like the fact that it is water-based. It last for about 12-24 hours depending on weather and your horses activity level. As far as cost goes, I like that it is on the "cheaper" end of the price range. I can buy one gallon and have it last all summer. ps- it wasn't made for misquotes.

NOT OILY, 9/7/2009
Cathleen from Parker, CO

I used this product this summer and I think it worked as well as any other I have tried and the advantage is it isn't oily so horse stays cleaner with it, as well as other advantages. The odor of it is different than most others too as it is not cintronella smelling and I found that to be a nice change.

formula change no dogs, 7/8/2009
animal owner from Nebraska

Be aware this product has recently changed formulation and is no longer labeled for dogs. I have not seen a difference in the effectiveness when used on horses. The active ingredients are now Prallethrin 0.033% Permethrin 0.100% and Piperonyl Butoxide 0.500%

disappointing, 11/22/2008
Erica from Groveton, NH

The price is always a grab on bronco. that is for a reason. i have a morgan and i used bronco on him this summer when the bugs were out. it really never served a purpose. i used this for a show since the bugs were so bad and i actually got points taken off because the judge thought i didnt use anything to prevent the bugs! definitely look for a different brand.

Not for bad fly problems, 9/1/2008
Duran from Las Cruces, NM

This product is ok if you have a LIGHT fly problem but if you have lots of flies and mosquitos, you're better off with a stronger, and I hate to say it, more expensive fly spray. I had a couple nights the mosquitos were really bad and had to use almost a whole bottle on one horse one night just so he could get some relief from the biting. I mainly use it just before and after fly season but definitely need something stronger during the season.
