Dry rots in 60 days, 7/11/2012

trainer in fl from florida

Im in florida and I go through these things like flyspray. They dryrot within 60 days, even when kept inside tack room of horse trailer. Cord frays then rubber inside falls apart. Dangerous if not inspected all the time. BUT the bungee works so well with the horses, better than hard tie nylon straps. I have moved to "safety snaps" and they are the bomb!

Doesn't last, 4/25/2012

Working Student from Southern, CA

I liked these when I first got them and I left them in the trailer at the tie points. Never had any problems with the snaps or anything. HOWEVER after 3 weeks INSIDE the trailer the outside covering started to deteriorate and fall apart, but only in the middle section of the tie. I am not sure why they have fallen apart but they are now unsafe to use after only a few months of using them and even at that only having a horse attached to the end for maybe 3 hours TOTAL! One of them has only ever been used twice! The bungee in them is deteriorated so bad and they are falling apart! I really like the concept but I would buy a different brand.

Good Ties, 4/9/2012

Good Ties from Scottsdale, Az

These work amazing for my 4 Arabian Geldings. I have 1 Arab that just loves to pull back and snap ties in the barn and while traveling to the shows. These work great for him. Also I have one that is very nervous when tied and these are amazing for him too. Would recommend them

2 Good, 1 Bad...., 3/27/2012

Nick from Alabama,GS

I bought 3 of these for our horse trailer. 2 are still in working condition, the other didn't make it a day befor the clip fell off (Bad Stitching). Would not buy again at 10 bucks a pop. Too much like gambling!

Bull Snap comes loose, 2/9/2012

Horsedreamer72 from North Idaho

I ordered two of these ties. Both of them somehow allowed the bull snap to come loose during travel so that when I stopped, I found that my horse was no longer tied. I couldn't see anything obviously wrong with the snap, but they must have too much give or looseness.

good ties, 11/24/2011

Gemmers from Brighton, IL

I use these ties in all my trailers. Enough "tie" to keep the horse from rubber necking around and enough "give" so they don't feel trapped or like they need to pull. And if your husband forgets to untie a horse before letting them back out, the tie will break before the halter or the horse. I've also used them to tie to the outside of the trailer and in the barn. Used every day like that they will stretch out a bit. Just wish they were even cheaper so I could have one in every trailer spot and on every tie ring around the barn.
