How do I measure for an English saddle ?
Pam S on Nov 25, 2015
Best Answer: Although we cannot guarantee fit in advance, here is a good way to figure English seat size:
Sit in a position so that your upper leg is at a right-angle to your lower leg, then measure your upper leg length ...from the back of your buttock to the tip of your knee.
Use this chart to determine your seat size:

Upper Leg Length Seat Size
Up to 16 1/2" 15" seat
Up to 18 1/2" 16" seat
Up to 20" 16 1/2" seat
Up to 21 1/2" 17" seat
Up to 23" 17 1/2" seat
Up to 23" 18" seat
