Rated 4 out of 5 by Great for little riders! Love this saddle. We've had this for almost 3 years and it's still in great condition. Great for teaching your child to sit correctly in the saddle. Has been used on a number of different breeds of horses and has worked just fine. I could see how it might not fit a high-withered horse. Synthetic so it's easy to clean and care for. My son rides after playing in the dirt. So it typically get pretty dirty. We just wipe it off and it's clean! Only downfall is the synthetic material because it gets rigid as it gets colder. Then it's hard to switch stirrup length since my kids are so short that we have wrap them. If you use a hot hair dryer then you can make them flexible again. Instead I use 2 sets of the synthetic leathers in the winter. Each one is wrapped to the right length for my kids. We purchased a dressage girth to use it on a horse. November 9, 2012
