Cashel Dura Lite Splint Boots
 
This ultra-light weight protective boot is ideal for the trail. It’s close, clean fit provides protection to your horse’s inner splint bone and seasmoid. Our Duralite splint boots are constructed with a tough and durable outer shell that is water resistant and will not carry foxtails or stickers. Bound edges help keep out dirt and debris, plus round hook and loop closures make it secure and easy to put on.  Sold in pairs.
 
Sizing Information:
 
Hand size of horse can be used to determine appropriate boot size: 
   Less than 14.1 hands = Small
   Between 14.1 and 15.1 hands = Medium
   Over 15.1 hands = Large

I think the sizing of these are off compared to other horse products. My horse is normally a size small in the front for SMB boots and splint boots. So I bought these as a small. Well they were a little bit too small for him(width wise), I plan to find a way to make them fit, its just inconvenient(extending velcro).

Good boots, 12/5/2011

Cashel Duralite Splint Boots from Tucson, Az

I really like these because they are so easy to clean, are well designed, and well made. I bought all three sizes to see which would work best on my Welsh pony and my Quarter horse. The small and medium work on the little welsh but I need a size xtra-large for the hind legs of the quarterhorse. The company should consider a size xtra large so you could use them for both front and hind of the bigger horses.

Trail rider from Fallbrook Ca

These are the best boots for trail because they do not collect stickers and foxtails. They protect my horses legs from rocks and other element on harsh trails. Work great even in water crossings.
