Didn't have a breast collar and I found one that looked like a good one that would not rub the chest of my horse raw.

Does this include the pad behind the legs as shown in the photo?
jana a on Nov 5, 2014
Best Answer: It includes three pads, one on each side of O ring that hooks to D rings on each side of the saddle, and the third that goes from O ring and hooks to cinch between legs. These three make up the breast collar.
The pad behind the legs may be referring to the cinch, which holds the saddle in place?
This is sold separately.

Does this breastcollar come like in the picture with the horse or with the reflective strip?-thanks.
danielle G on May 25, 2015
Best Answer: The breast-collar looks like the photo. What you see is the fleece sewn around the leather strap. All of the outer edges have the fleece wrapped around the leather and sewn in place.

Is the hardware stainless steel?
Magan W on Jul 29, 2015
Best Answer: I'm not positive, but I've had this item in Costa Rica now for a year, and the metal parts haven't rusted (which happens almost immediately in our humidity), so I would say it probably is stainless steel. Really like this collar by the way, very comfortable, easy to adjust, easy to put on & off, cleans up nicely.

How many inches from centre ring to girth and centre ring to where it attaches to saddle?
A shopper on Mar 2, 2015
Best Answer: The part of the breast collar that attaches to the girth is 24" at its longest setting and the parts that attach to the saddle are approximately 20" not including the connecting strap.

Sarah below asked what the breast collar measured and it was answered with "average horse size". What does that mean? How much does it measure from ring to ring (actually to clarify - at the ring measure the material to the other ring). I am looking for 32" or better. Thanks!
A shopper on Dec 24, 2014
Best Answer: Average horse size will fit a horse 800 - 1,100 lbs.
