Cheap Rubber, 10/4/2011

I have a clumsy 17hh horse and so am always buying new bell boots. Ususally the velcro closure or the stitches attaching the velcro give out and so I replace them. These bell boots actually have fantastic heavy duty velcro that holds really tight. However, the second time my horse wore the boots they tore right in half down the middle of the rubber on the front of the boot. I have never, never, seen the rubber give out on a pair of bell boots from a single instance of foot on foot rubbing (isn't that what they are there for?) Would not buy again until they improve the product.
