Ok first of if you are going to gat a twith for any reason always get a rope one never a chain one . Rope ones are safer if you have to use a twitch . Chain ones can pinch your horse and cause pain , and just make the horse sacred of you to . Secondly a twitch is crule the only people who should have these are vets not horse owners . Horse owners should use a stud chain and have someone hold ur horse and give them trate at diffrent points in time durring whatever you are doing . Sorry for the long review .

I bought this because i needed to calm my horse down for clipping, like the person below. For the person who wrote the review who hates these, i can understand why, if you had a bad experience. I had a bad experience with this too... But i'll put that past me to write this review. Quality isn't so great, i was afraid it would snap but that's because my horse was jerking his head. Price is good, but my pet does NOT approve it

You know i got a twitch because my horse doesn't like the clippers. They aren't that big of a deal. Its to because you can't control your horse DUH..they are to calm the horse down to give them a shot or trim their ears mostly because they have been abused by the needle or clippers...like my horse was hurt with clippers.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRR, 4/11/2012

Hi from N/A

I despise these. I've heard of horses getting their foot caught in one and they end up on the ground. DO NOT WHATSOEVER BUY THIS, UNLESS you have an uncontrollable dangerous horse to handle. I believe that no horse is bad, there's just bad owners. I'm sorry if you end up buying this because you probably bought a horse that was sold because the owner just couldn't get any control over them. So sorry for the long review, but i know someone who had a real bad experience with one of these. These aren't really terrible, so don't let me stop you from buying one if you actually need it.
