endurance style or saddle horn?
A shopper on Mar 3, 2015
Best Answer: Not sure what you are asking. This saddle is an Endurance Trail Saddle.

If you are asking if you should consider a no-horn saddle or with-horn saddle then that would depend on three things: Riding Background, Weight, and Safety.

*Riding Background-normally people from English background would prefer a western style saddle without a horn. Those from Western Background would prefer saddles with a horn.
*Weight-normally with-horn saddles are heavier than no-horn saddles
*Safety-This goes two directions. With-horn saddles give you something to hold if you get into trouble. There is a fear, though, if the horse falls backwards, the horn could cause bodily injury...seldom happens but the fear is there.

Hope this answers your question.

Do the stirrup fenders accommodate a shorter person? I am 5'2". What is the length of the fender on the shortest hole? Thank you.

Are there specific saddle bags to fit this specific saddle?
A shopper on Mar 21, 2015
Best Answer: This is a great question. Saddles bags are made to fit normal. So most, in not all, of the time traditional saddle bags will fit any western style saddle. The biggest reason(s) a pair of bags would not fit a western saddle is because the saddle doesn't not have a way to connect the bags to the saddle and/or the bags were not made for a western saddle. Example: Saddle bags made to an English Saddle.

Hope this helps...
