Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Saddle Pad Ever I just bought this saddle pad and I absolutely felt an amazing difference this saddle pad from all others I have used in the past. It is very comfortable for me and my horses. My mare moved very well and comfortably under it. My gelding, however, has always gotten very cranky when I saddled him before. I put this saddle pad on him, and when I put the saddle on nothing bothered him. It was such a relief to see him comfortable and happy with this saddle pad. I definitely recommend this product. :) January 10, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good Pad This is a good pad. we have 2. But we bought the 3 one a 1/2 wool and 1/8 foam bottom Classic Equine pad from stateline tack that the foam and felt completelyseparated. It is Junk. But this item has held up well except for the threads at the withers broke quite soon. October 25, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Pad This pad has held together well so far in 2 seasons. We have 3 of these. We purchased a Classic Equine 3/4 wool and 1/2 foam thatseparated in less than 1 season, it was $152.00 and junk. But these pads have done very well. October 16, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very pleased! When I received this in the mail, I got a different color than the pad displayed. However, I like it much more and the quality is great! This pad is NEVER sweaty when you take it off after a long ride, which I love. It conforms to your horse's back and you can definitely see the difference. I would recommend this pad to a horse with higher withers. February 8, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Daughter LOVES this pad! My daughter has a horse with practically NO whither, so she has problems with her saddle slipping, wasn't a big issue until she started running barrels on him. A friend of mine who runs barrels all the time recommended this pad for her to try and it's awesome. My daughter absolutely LOVES this pad, saddle fits great on her horse now and no slipping at all, her and her horse are happy campers now!! Her only complaint was it didn't come in any cool colors, only black or tan and being a 10 year old girl she would have like to have a colorful pad. But overall a great pad, a little pricy for my budget so hopefully it will last a long time! September 28, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great! Awesome saddle pad! I love the neoprene underlining, it helps keep my white horse clean because I can just wipe the dirt and hair off. I don't mind, but it's not super thick, defiently not for horses who need extra padding. December 20, 2010

I bought this pad because I love the cell foam bottom, there is no slipping on my horses back and my saddle stays right where I place it. Even on trail rides going up or down hills it stays put.

Best Answer: Personally I wasn't too impressed with this saddle pad. For me it didn't prevent saddle slippage and I found my horses back got hotter using this. I've since looked into getting a CSI pad. If you are going to invest, try to invest once!
