Classic Equine Bitlogic AT Silver Correction Loose Cheek Bit

The softest of all shank bit styles, the Smooth Snaffle is perfect for moving a colt from an O Ring to a shank bit or for light, well-broke older horses. Soft pressure is applied through the curb to the horse's chin, the bars, corners of the mouth, and the tongue.  A slight step up from the snaffle, the 1"x1" Correction applies pressure to the chin, bars, and corners, but applies added pressure to the tongue. This is a good step up for a colt from the 6"cheek snaffle.

Size: 5" Mouth
Cheek: 6" or 7 1/2"
6" Bit Port size: 1" wide x 1" tall
7 1/2" Bit Port size: 1" x 2" tall

Rated 5 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great All Around Bit I deal in horses, mainly Gaited, and I have a variety of bits in my arsenal. This has now become my new favorite. Every horse that I have used it on, seems to respond very well. I have not found any to be intimidated by it, but on the other hand, listen and respond very well to it. It only seems to take a new horse moments to accept the feel of this in his mouth, and all seem to be content and soft with the use of this bit. I purchased the 6", and am considering also adding the 7 1/2" to my tack room. Highly recommend this bit to anyone considering purchasing. March 13, 2012
