Collegiate Convertible Diploma Close Contact Saddle

 

Collegiate saddles are made from fine rich full grain leather. Provides the rider with a comfortable flat seat for maximum contact.  The Easy-Change gullet system allows you to change the tree size to fit any horse. Padded flaps with concealed knee provide maximum comfort and correct balance. Saddle comes with medium gullet plate with a lifetime tree warranty.

Great saddle, 4/1/2011

I just bought this saddle after looking for one for my hard to fit Thoroughbred or 4 months. He is a wide tree horse and I have to use a wool half pad on him no matter what saddle. Anyway, I finally ordered this one after returning 2 other saddles and so far I love it. I am in the process of breaking it in but it has been comfortable from the moment I tried it. The color is a reddish brown but very pretty and good quality thick leather. I found it on sale for $700 so I think I scored, since it is nearly a $1000 saddle. Anyway, the interchangeable gullet system is so ideal if you are going to spend a lot o money on a saddle. Odds are that it will it more horses than it does not so if a new horse comes along, you may be able to keep using it and not have to sell and loose money. I give it 2 thumbs up.

Best english saddle I've ever owned! Fits like a glove, extremely comfortable for both myself and my horse. Also very happy the tree is interchangeable if needed! Right now the medium tree fits great, but you never know when you might need to change it! Also could not beat the closeout price on the size 16.5..only $699! Look all over for a price match and NO ONE could do it! Great quality; an absolutely beautiful saddle that will match my sorrel Thoroughbred perfectly!

I've had this saddle for 4 yrs now and I LOVE IT!! Great price if you are on a budget! It wears well and fits my broad QH and my sleek TB! Great for flat and jumping work. Very comfortable for myself and my horses. As a trainer, it's nice to have one saddle that can be adjusted to multiple horses. I'll get another one when this wears out! You WON"T be disappointed!!

Great Saddle for the Price, 12/16/2010

This saddle is great! It instantly feels broken in, and is so comfortable. I got this saddle a few months ago for my 5 yr old App who we were leasing. We didn't know if we were going to buy her, so I wanted a saddle that if we ended up with another horse would fit them. We have had this saddle fit twice as she quickly got muscular. The Easy-Change Gullet System is extremely easy, and with flocking you can make the saddle custom-fit to your horse. It isn't a Bates or Pessoa, but it is a great saddle for the price and my horse loves it.

Love this saddle!, 5/13/2009

I purchased it used from someone practically brand new, didn't even have rubs from the stirrup leathers, and I love it! I don't really use the gullet system, haven't really needed to, but every horse I have used it on seem to like it, and it is super comfortable, the seat has a good amount of cushion. I have friends that comment on what a comfortable saddle it is. My horse had some back issues when I got this saddle, which disapeared after a couple of weeks.

Good Saddle, 5/12/2009

I actually purchased this saddle through a different store, but it is a great saddle, and has worked for me on many horses, from Belgians to thoroughbreds. Give it a little time to break in, but then it is great. It does not have a very deep seat, but works well for jumping and flat work. The sizes are changeable, which makes it a lot easier than buying a different saddle for each horse.

I bought this saddle just to have an extra english saddle but Im not really impressed with the overall quality. Its like sitting on a cardboard box and isnt really that comfortable. I dont really feel that secure while sitting in the seat. The leather quality is middle of the road and tool a while to break in. Its just a middle of the road saddle not cheap but not great
