Great for Saddle Bags!, 12/13/2011

I would never use this on a regular basis- I like the sturdy metal ones better. BUT, I this does fit nicely in my saddle bag, so when I'm up in the mountains where it's rocky, if the horse has a problem, I have something to take it out with (way better than a stick!). Plus, the comb is...well, a comb! It can get out knots in a hair-emergency. I didn't rate pet approval 5 stars because I haven't used it much. The quality is so-so; it's a pointy plastic comb, nothing more, nothing les. Would def. recommend as a cheapie for trails.

I got this from my 4-h xmas party. I use it everyday since I have a habit of losing my hoof picks. This is my spare until I get a new one. I have been able to get the dirt out of her feet. The comb works in my mares tail. It is still in one piece.

DON'T BUY!!!, 11/30/2009

I bought this brush and it fell apart in just DAYS!!! I own an Arabian mare that only goes out to pasture 2 hours a day and this pick couldn't get a little mud outta her hoof!!! And the combs teeth kept breaking off when I combed her mane!!! Overall don't buy!!!
