To keep the flies from congregating under the covered patios at both entrances to the house. They fly inside in multitudes as we entered and exited the house, causing an invasion of flies into our residence.

Great for direct stall spray, they work for many seasons.

This seems to work well but I think the dispenser was only good for one maybe two years because even though I replaced the batteries and the cans, there are still lots of flies. Downside is you need a ladder to mount it high enough

I have a huge wasp problem entering the swimming pool and graciously leaving, however they can be a nuisance while enjoying the pool. Would this be recommended? I also have two small dogs and a cat that I need to keep safe.

is it safe in the stall being he eats in there?
Shunter on Jul 15, 2014
Best Answer: I have also worried about this, particularly since the product specifications say that it should not be used in food preparation areas. That said, the presence of flies also causes issues that I think are a greater risk to the health and well being of our horses than the possibility of some spray getting in their buckets. In order to lessen exposure, we put the sprayers on the wall directly over the horses grain buckets. Watching the pattern the spray follows, it shoots out of the dispenser and gradually widens and forms a cloud as it progresses away from the dispenser. Therefore, the bulk of the spray circulates in the other half of the stall. Not perfect, but it does lessen the amount of spray that comes in contact with the buckets.

I run an animal shelter and our local feed store recommended this for our dog kennels. We also have a fly problem in our main kennel building that houses cats and dogs. Is this product safe for cats, dogs, and the general public?

Best Answer: I use these individually in each stall at my stable. They were very easy to setup, runs on a timer so you get continuous fly spray protection. I used them all year in 2014 and saw no ill effects either on my horses, the dogs or the cats that run in the barn. Seemed to be very effective in controlling my fly problems. I would recommend it for the price and ease of use.
