Not sure why RHONDAW from Pittsburgh has had such a different experience but after reading that post (implying that the favorable responses were all false) I just had to throw in my two cents. I am just an ordinary horse owner who gets no "kick-back" from plugging this product. I adore Cowboy Magic! I have a Bashkir Curly (with a crazy-curly mane) and two miniature horses with the thickest/heaviest/longest manes EVER. This product is a dream and smells great, too (which is always a big deal w/me). The animals seem to like it also, as no one moves away when I bring it out. The only downside is the price, which is steep ... but I've found worth it.

Was looking for a new detangler since I was very unhappy with the product I used last season. Bought the small tube to try it out even though I did think it was alittle pricey - But you only need a very small amount (the size of a nickle). His mane and tail were so easy to comb out and looked fantastic! I was so impressed - had to share with all the others in the barn. I'm hooked and will buy this again.

Title pretty much explains it all. I use this in my own hair, in my daughters hair, my dogs, everyone in our house uses Cowboy Magic. The best stuff ever. I worked at a boarding stable and would groom some horses for extra money and always wowed their owners after using cowboy magic. LOVE LOVE LOVE!

This product gets every tangle out of my pony's mane and tail. I use it for shows because it gives her a tangle-free tail and it maj=kes her tail and mane SO MUCH SHINIER!!! She is turned out every day for almost the whole day and when I bring her in to ride she is a tangled mess this stuff gets every SINGLE tangle out!! The price though isn't so great it is pretty expensive for such a small amout but because how great this is I'll make sure to buy it next time I make an order!!!

Everything positive about this product is very true! It untangles and conditions the hair beautifully. I even put some in my soapy water when I give my horse a bath! It's worth every cent you pay, maybe more. It's hydrolyzed silk, so that's what makes it so amazing! I'll never use another product. :)

My mare lives in a large pasture and gets pretty muddy in winter/spring, but this product instantly detangles her very long and thick tail & mane. I was amazed (and amused) when I first used this product because it worked so well. I got 16 oz bottle and used it every time I rode her (4-5 times a week), and I used up the bottle in 3 months, and I am now on the second bottle. I don't like to use my hands to spread it through the tail especially when the tail is muddy, so I pour a small amount on my brush, and it works like a magic (although you would need to wash/clean the brush once a week if you do this). Not only does it detangle the tail in a few seconds, it makes the tail & mane shiny, soft, smooth, and not oily. It is a bit expensive, but I probably use it at faster pace than most people, and I wouldn't know what to do without it.

I have a long-haired dauchsund and my vet told me to use Cowboy Magic to detangle his ears. I bought it when he was two and he is nine now. I use it on my hair and skin as well. I love this stuff!!

I purchased the Sleek and Shine for my black and white pain gelding, I put it in his mane and tail and it was instantly smooth, shiny and amazing easy to brush through. No tangles or twists. Comes out with water and isnt sticky or oily. 5 stars, I love it and would recommend to everyone!

Bought a 32oz bottle two years ago and still have some left! Yes, it is pricey, but it does last a long time and I have three horses. Their manes and tails are tangle free after I use this product and will remain so for about a month. I will continue to buy this product.

This product is a complete failure! It does NOT detangle. It does NOT condition! The positive reviews are out right lies and false testimonials. My review is based on my use of the product. Do not buy this product.
