Crochet Ear Net with Fringe, 9/10/2011

Amy from SF, CA

Very pleased. Ears run small, if you have a horse 15.2 or bigger or one with ears on the long side, the ears may not fit.

A little disappointed, 8/11/2011

Coco from Oshkosh, WI

After reading other reviews, I thought this was just what we needed for a great price. Shipping or handling is kind of expensive. The horses tolerate the bonnet ok and it does keep the pests off of their ears (although the bonnet ears are too big), but it doesn't really scare the bugs away as well as I hoped. Coco still tossed his head a lot to keep deer flies from landing on his neck.

Way to go, 8/2/2011

Isaiah from Benton Harbor, MI

Had mine for years. Decided to buy another. Wish you didn't have to thread the end of the string through a small hole, but it's still O.K. My horse doesn't like anything on her face but accepts this very well. I wish they made a larger size for my warmblood and draft.

Iffy, 7/13/2011

Jo from Chesterfield, MO

When i got this i was so excited to finally have on of these but i took it out of the bag and it had a rip down the entire side of one ear. i sewed it up fairly easily and it works great! My horse (though she is usually very finicky about everything) loves it especially during the cicada season we had here.

Works great!, 5/28/2011

Sarah Fox from Wyalusing, PA

I bought mine last year and I still have. Although, if your horse loves to roll(like mine did) it might come off---so I wouldn't leave it on all night, I think this product is a great, great buy! So far it's held up to my mare's abuse wonderfully and is good for riding, as I prefer her without a big huge mask on. This net sprayed w/your fave flyspray keeps the flies away for the ride. I hope mine lasts for years to come!

Can't leave the BARN without it!!!!, 10/13/2010

Crochet Ear Net with Fringe from Seneca, Illinois

A girlfriend of mine brought one of these horse "hats", what we call them, for me to try, I just love it & so does my mare! She was always waving her head but with a little spray on it before she wears it we have no problem on the trails.

We love it!, 4/8/2009

Brittany from WI

I first picked one of these up at the Kentucky Rolex back in 04. I got a few more for so the other horses can have freedom while on a trail ride or workout. During the time the bugs are out I use this everyday. My horse is just fine with it and best thing ever, I dont have to worry about spraying fly spray on their face!
